Wiill, born William Hart Field, is a new American rapper. Wiill was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Stuart, Florida where he developed a love for musical craft. He taught himself to play the piano and drums. Detouring from music and fully into athletics at a boarding school in the northeast, he found his way back to the craft at the age of eighteen when he decided to get serious about rapping, forming the monicker "Philemon". He released music on Soundcloud under the name Philemon including popular song remixes like a "Walk It Talk It" remix which got him noticed by Channel the Sun, an indie record label, who helped produce his first EP, "Wiill with Two Eyes". His first EP gained traction on streaming platforms and helped to get him meetings with some other labels and celebrated publicists, but Wiill ultimately decided to stay independent. He is currently the "In-House Artist" at the Mindful Music Lab based in Miami, FL. Since the start of his career, Wiill has continued to evolve his sound working in Hip-Hop and creating a name for himself in the Miami rap scene, but has since transcended genre with his few latest singles that dip into electronic and rnb progressions. Wiill has garnered a large portion of his fan base through live shows where his energy and passion for his craft are best captured. He continues to change the blueprint for upcoming artists as he throws his own shows, hosts his own interviews, and intimately engages with his fan base. The tight knit fan base has propelled Wiill into a certain underground buzz that has been well documented through blogs like Billboard, Elevator Magazine and Sheesh. His style continues to adapt and develop, providing fans with an evolving experience that delves into the possibilities of rap and other genres.
Colder tells the tale of two unrequited love stories.
